|Detoxing and starting an all garden diet
Dec 26, 2005
I have heard of HIV+ people who have detoxed off of everything...nicotine, medicines, caffiene, meat, dairy, and every thing we basically take into our bodies; they then began a basically vegan diet, eating only veggies and fruit...then they test negative. Do you know about this?? Is it safe to detox off of everything and go totally vegan? I have thought about going vegetarian, but here recently, i've really considered going vegan. What do you think?? Thank you for your time...Byron

I have never seen a documented case of someone who cleared HIV virus through any form of diet. I have had scores of patients on vegan diets and have not observed any direct HIV benefit (may be other health benefits however). KH
