HIV related enlarged parotid glands
Dec 23, 2005
I have a comment and a question. I just read a question about treatment of HIV related enlarged parotid glands. The response given indicated that the condition could be treated either with some HIV meds or surgical reduction of the glands. I have had a series of low-radiation treatments that have significantly reduced the enlargement. Is this not offered as an option to your readers?

Thanks for that feedback. I don't know which response you are referring to. I generally have treated persistent HIV-related parotid enlargement with low dose radiation with generally OK results as you note. KH
