Isn't it better to spread this virus fast since the cure for this ugly virus is not forthcoming and the pharmaceutical company's are making it a profiteering venture?

Being HIV positive is much worse under all circumstances than being HIV negative, and we have the means to prevent much of the transmission that could theoretically occur by extensive public education. This should be our main priority in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. For those who are infected, we need to work to get access to life-saving treatment to those who need it. We need to congratulate the pharmaceutical industry when it has stepped forward and been part of the solution, and call it to task when it has not. As for a cure, we need to keep the realistic hope that it will be discovered in our lifetimes, without losing sight of the hard work of prevention and treatment we are called to do now.
