erratic heart rate Sep 14, 2005 I'm a 33 year old female. I've been on Combivere and Viramune for about a year and doing well. (non detectable and cd4 of 800.) Lately at night I notice my heart seems to race or even skip beats. Could this be from the meds? |

 It is possible that the AZT component could cause some cardiac problems (cardiomyopathy or anemia with a fast heart rate) though that is not a common problem. Most likely other factors (such as caffeine, thyroid condition or stress) are active. A full history and physical examination would be recommended. KH | ||||||||
