Greetings Dr., I was reading a posted Q/A titled, "Sinusitis" from Feb. 6, 2005, symptoms forum and after reading the answer, I was left with an obvious question in my mind. Because of all the damage environmentally we are inflicting on the earth, are we not co-assaulting our bodies physiologiclly and altering our evolotionistic responses for tomorrow? Maybe over the years of continued exposure to petroleum type products and/or whatever freight this trucker hauled, could he not have developed an allergic reaction to oil, gasoline byproducts, diesel fumes, various poisonous gases possible escaping proper emission? Well I think this is completely valid avenue for the future and the possible contributing causes of sinusitis. I am not a doctor, just a concerned far thinking adult with HIV and constant sinusitis myself for years. I am becoming more and more allergic to fumes and gases, causing sinus attacks. Thank you for your time and attention to our well being.
