|vitamin b12 help lipo?
May 17, 2005
I would just like to ask if it's true that vitamin b12 helps stop the progression of lypodistrophy. I,ve read it on some sites. I am currently on viramune and combivir and are tolerating them quite well the only problem being my skinny legs and bloated stomach. Please write any useful advice quite desperate

There is some anecdotal experience that anti-oxidants and vitamins may provide some modest benefit for lipodystrophy. The data is not particulary convincing at this point. Use of uridine supplements is currently one of the more intriguing possible treatments but data on that is still limited. KH
