| Pregnancy Infertility & Hiv in Women Feb 4, 2005 I am appalled to learn that HIV+ men can be helped via ivf to have babies with Hiv- women but if the tables are turned or if both are positive no one will touch me. Any clinic out in the world that will take my case? I really don't want to cheat, but am about to cheat using my sister's Hiv- bloodwork...going to different doctors and a different state. My husband is positive too. |

Response from Dr. Henry
There are MDs and clinics that still assist HIV impacted couples (whatever the combination of + and -) to safely have HIV- children without infecting any one else. In Europe there is even wider experience. Many HIV specialist are comfortable discussing this important issue with patients. KH | |||||||||
