holistic approach to hiv
Jan 13, 2005
My question is: Is there a more healthy approach to hiv viral load/cd4 other than anti-retrovirals? ie. stimulation of the thymus gland through nutrition to boost cd4? body sematic therapy for lymph drainage? chiropractic for proper alignment of nervous system and it's functions? How about accupuncture for energy
levels and there functions in the body? For example the liver and kidney energy zones?
Response from Dr. Henry
None of those treatment approaches have been shown to effectively and regularly improve immune function and improve clinical status in patients with advanced HIV and AIDS. Antiretroviral therapy usually results in clinical benefit with tolerable toxicity. KH
