Sutherlandia Jan 19, 2004 A lot has been said about the use of the herb Sutherlandia in treating HIV/AIDS. I personaaly have used it and the results have been unbelievable - no more chest pain I had for well over 8 years, gained abount 5 kg and I feel myself once again. I have never been on ARVs, and I reckon I have been +ve since 1995. What is your comment on Sutherlandia. |

 Sutherlandia is a herbal medicine used in Africa for a variety of conditions. Information is available at the website www.sutherlandia.org A safety study was done which found it to be safewithin the parameters of the study. The anecotal stories on the website are not all that impressive. I have not seen the results of a well conducted study-if any exists please let me know. The interest level seems high so a study comparing sutherlandia to ART to ART + sutherlandia would be interesting. KH | ||
