Complaints about dry skin and numbness in feet/stiff hands are nonspecific and can occur in the general population. A good evaluation by a primary care doctor would be a good start (complete examination and lab tests) to look for other conditions (blood vessel, nerve problems, etc). Dry skin (xeroderma) is particularly common in HIV+ patients and can be tough to take care of. Increasing humidity and skin moisturizers can be helpful. Seeing a dermatologist is often of benefit. KH
