| timing of drugs Nov 1, 2003 Hi I am on sustiva, zerit and epivir. I take the zerit and epivir twice a day. How close to 12 hours apart is it necessary to take the drugs twice a day? is there any flexibility without the risk of building resistance. is an hour or two early or late likely to cause problems regards Mike |

Response from Dr. Conway
It's hard to say for sure, but taking them 1-2 hours late (or ealry) is very unlikely to make a difference, especially if your viral load is already low or undetectable. | |||||||||
