rayataz and axid Aug 20, 2003 Doctor is it save to take axid 2 hours after I take rayataz? My doctor has prescribe axid twice a day. I am not sure that he realizes that no antacid should be taken with rayataz.Axid was not listed in the antacids to be avoided. I am thinking to take at least one pill 2-3 hours after I take rayataz. Do you know how long a 150mg axid last in the bloodstream? thanks Maria |

 In the absence of solid data I would be cautious. I would take the Rayataz in the late AM or PM and the Axid the opposite AM or PM. KH | ||
