| Is the info posted on your web site dated Feb 10, 2001 still correct? Aug 7, 2003 Alvan Fisher, M.D. Brown University, School of Medicine stated in an answer on this web site that the drug finisteride (Proscar & Propecia) should not be taken with hiv antiviral & protease inhibitors. Is this answer to a question posted on Feb 10, 2001 correct? I am taking Proscar with my anti virals and Kaletra and have elevated prolactin levels. |

Response from Dr. Henry
I am unaware of any serious interaction between finisteride and Kaletra. I am always cautious and on guard for unexpected interactions. I have patients who are safely using those medications together. KH | |||||||||
