 Changing possibly offending HIV medications around can sometimes help. Studies are evaluating the effectiveness of treatments such as growth hormone and some diabetes medications (metformin and/or the glitazones). Checking hormone levels (such as testerone) and treating any deciciencies can sometimes be helpful. No single treatment can be endorsed at this time--frustrating! KH | ||||||||
