cd4 count

I just recently tested HIV+ a few weeks ago. My cd4 count is 87 and my viral load is 84,300. How long do you think I have had the virus for my cd4 count to be so low>>

That is hard to say with any certainty. Speaking in general terms those levels usually indicate a chronic infection (many years of infection). Rarely a person infected within the last year would blood test results like that (< 5% in my experience). KH
