Diarrhea ??? May 9, 2003 I have severe episodes of diarrhea. All my lab's are good CD4 425, VL97. I have also had EVERY Stool test possible and all was ok. Nothing OTC drug's worked, also tried Lomotil with no success. I am now taking Paregoric (NOT easy to find) and it has helped, but I can not take it forever. My med's are Viread,Epivir, Viramune, and Marinol. I have been on them for 18 mths. ANY idea's or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU, Rich |

 I assume you have seen a good GI specialist so have had bowel transmit studies done and been evaluated for gluten hypersensitivity, inflammatory bowel disease, and infections. Patients sometimes respond to empiric use of calcium supplements (such as Os-cal) or fiber agents (such as oat bran or fiber-con). KH | ||||||||
