Megace, androgel, and testosterone levels Apr 24, 2003 Hello..I have been taking Megace to help bolster my appetite, but recently I read that Megace can actually lower one's testosterone level.Having been dealing with loss of libido and what seems like genital shrinkage, I am concerned about the addition of Megace to my daily intake of meds. Will Megace negate any positive effects I might get from Androgel? |

 That is possible. Megace often leads to weight gain that is of marginal significance. My own use of Megace these days is very minimal due to a variety of concerns about side effects and efficacy. KH | ||||||||
