my freind was diagnosised for tonsilittis with two swollen nodes on both sides of throat and one small pea shaped node under the jaw in the neck.he was prescribed with antibiotics.throat inf.was cured within a weak,and the swolled nodes on the either sides of throat dissapeared within 4 weeks.but the one unde jaw in neck still remains swollen.and now it is already nine months.and to add to his worries he has got a candid infections on his thighs,for almost 6years.what could be your diagnosis.

You don't mention what is his/her HIV status. Persistent lymph node enlargement after tonsillitis is not that uncommon even after many months. KH
