| Symptoms high CD4 count Feb 23, 2001 Dear DR. I had a high risk exposure 4 years ago(unprotected sex with a female hooker)exactly 3 weeks later I came down with very severe flu like symptoms(sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, fever).Since then I started taking the EIA for HIV 1-2 every month all the way to month 36 also a VL and a pcr test for hiv 1 at month 09.Unfortunately my last 3 girlfriends experienced the same flu like symptoms after 21 days of having intercourse with me.Im suffering weird symptoms like retracting gums, dry mouth, hair thinning (head and body) also a reddish tint on my hair??? I had a cd4 count last week results were: cd4 939 cd8 518 relation 1.86. I need your advise Im going crazy.... thanks |

Response from Dr. Bartlett
Since all of your HIV tests, antibodies and DNA and RNA PCR, are negative, you do not have HIV infection. | |||||||||
