 HIV is a big topic. If treatment is available then people are living a very long time. Even if treatment is not available much can be done. You should go and see a doctor with HIV experience in your area and talk with a counselor who works with HIV. Often additional blood tests are necessary to find out how your health is holding up. If you speak Spanish better than English you might want to check out the Body's spanish expert site. This particular column is more for persons who have a problem related to their medications or symptoms from HIV and is not a general information source about HIV. KH | ||
