What do the sores you get look like? And can you get them without experiencing any other symptoms or being diagnosed?

There are entire books filled with pictures of the types of skin lesions persons with HIV can get. There is no classic sore -- in fact -- most persons don't get sores per se but many get rashes of one sort or another. Skin rashes can be the first sign of HIV infection but that is very non-specific. If one has been possibly exposed to HIV the best thing to do is get tested. KH
