| Veiny legs/arms Jul 30, 2001 I have recently developed veiny arms and legs with the loss of muscle also. My question is: "is this condition suppose to be painful." My doctor says most people don't feel pain or weakness just recognize the veiny apperance. I have felt both. Is this normal? |

Response from Dr. Boyle
No, that is not normal, and it merits further evaluation for evidence of muscle wasting and other disorders that are not consider a part of lipodystrophy but are considered a part of AIDS wasting syndrome and other conditions. | ||||||||||
