Plastic Surgery

I'm a 36 year old Hispanic male living with HIV for 6 years I'm undec and my tcell is 561 I started growing a belly due to medication I just want to know how safe it is and if theres any HIV friendly plastic surgeons in NYC

I haven't seen much positive about plastic surgery for increased abdominal fat in the setting of HIV treatment. Much of the fat if related to HIV or treatment is intra-adbominal and thus not amendable to plastic surgery (ie liposuction). Genetics plays a strong role in fat distribution for many patients so look at similarly aged or older relatives in your family to get a sense of fat distribution due to genetics. If any reader has a NYC based HIV friendly plastic surgeon to recommend please post. KH
