Unprotected sexDec 19, 2001 Hi, I was wondering what the risk of becoming pregnant is if one has unprotected sex, but the male "pulls out?" I know how unsafe this is, but as I was about to tell my partner to stop (it was not very far into us having sex)he pulled out and ejaculated. Do you have an idea how much at risk of being pregnant I may be? Thank you so much for your time, i appreciate it. |

![]() | Response from Mr. KullThis falls outside of my area of expertise. I know that there is a possibility of becoming pregnant when one is exposed to pre-cum alone, but I do not have any numbers to support this. You are right that "pulling out" poses a risk for infection with HIV and other STDs if your partner is infected. If you decide not to use a condom, having your partner ejaculate outside of your body is lower risk than having your partner ejaculate inside of you.
