Response from Mr. Kull
Testing at 22 weeks, or between 5 and 6 months following exposure, is considered an accurate antibody test. The CDC recommends that people wait at least three months following an exposure for an accurate test. It would be unusual for someone to take as long as six months to develop antibodies. No further testing is needed. Hives are related to allergic reactions in your body, not HIV. See your primary medical doctor or an allergist for help with this condition. RMK | |||
