 Hi. Thank you for your question. When a woman gets an abortion, they are not normally tested for HIV infection. The posting, "Blood Test" discusses the circumstances that a physician would normally do HIV testing. Depending on the state and country a person lives in, under some circumstances, HIV testing is mandatory. For example, in the USA, testing is mandatory for anyone donating blood, or entering the military. However, I am not aware of mandatory HIV testing when a woman gets an abortion. Regarding the issue of health risks of multiple abortions on having children, I am not an expert in this field of medicine. Let me therefore refer you to the following references on this topic.
