How far is far enough for pregnancy?
Mar 25, 1997
I was just wondering if it is possible to get pregnant by just being involved in heavy petting?
Response from Mr. Sowadsky
Hi. Thank you for your question.
Due to space limitations, this website is strictly here to answer questions about AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's). There may be other websites on the Internet to answer questions about pregnancy. You may also want to check to see if there are newsgroups on the Internet dealing with general sexual issues, such as this. Also, just about any library would have books relating to pregnancy. If vaginal intercourse did not occur, there would not be any real risk of becoming pregnant.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to call the Centers for Disease Control at 1.800.232.4636 (Nationwide).
