Response from Mr. Sowadsky
Thank you for your question. There is no single answer to your question since the quality and success of safer sex, AIDS, and STD educational programs varies tremendously from one school to another. Some schools provide excellent, comprehensive, and successful programs. Other schools provide programs that are not very successful. And still other schools provide no educational programs at all on this subject. The following postings from our website should provide you with more insight on this topic. Give me your opinion Educating children and adolescents about safer sex Poor AIDS Eduction in schools Motivation for behavior change AIDS education for young children AIDS Education Parents talking about sex to their children Condom use among American teenagers If you have any further questions, please feel free to call the Centers for Disease Control at 1.800.232.4636 (Nationwide). | |||||||||
