Hi, worried about getting the virus when I had drinking session with people I don't really know the background. We shared same glass, we're around 6 persons sharing. Would it be possible if the virus can be transmitted that way. A possible case maybe, the other person has a blood in his mouth and was passed on thru the glass? Is there a documented case of transmission this way? Thanks hope u can answer right away.
Response from Mr. Kull
There are no documented cases of HIV being transmitted through casual contact. That includes sharing drinking glasses with HIV infected individuals.
