I was in the Ohio state Wexner Medical Center and was diagnosed with Hepatitis C.. More then one doctor there including Dr. Jennifer Merrill M.D. Told me that 20% of people who come im contact with hcv their body's fight if off on its own and if it didn't that about a year and a half ago they found a cure and that there is a cure for it. Is this true or will I have hcv for the rest of my life? And I aslo have papers stating what I just said

Hello there This is exactly correct. They have made great progress with treating Hepatitis C and current treatments have >90% success rates at CURE. Definitely stay in care so your doctors can follow you and decide if you need medications for your Hep C. Take care Dr. W
