Can I infect myself with my own sex toy

Jun 26, 2015

So I have a swollen lymph node on my left groin, between my thigh, penis, and abdominal region. I had gone to the doctor where he ran STD tests (I have not had sex in 8 months), the results came back today stating I have chlamydia. I have been using a fleshlight which is my own. Is there anyway I could've contracted it from there? Silly I know but I need reassurance.

Response from Mr. Glenn

Thanks for your question,

It's not possible to get chlamydia from a sex toy without another person involved at the same time. You may have to sit down and think about if you were infected with it while you were still having sex.

Hope this helps,

Erik
