Unprotected Oral Sex
Aug 14, 2014
Hi. I had oral sex with this guy I've met through a social media app. He gave me a blowjob and it lasted for approx 15-20 minutes. He made me believe that it would be safe. He also said he doesn't have any wounds or sores in his mouth. Well I don't have any wounds or sores on my penis as well. This happened on the 27th of July 2014 and after 18 days, I started experiencing muscle pains in some parts of my body, especially in my left armpit. That's the only HIV symptom I've felt so far. But sometimes, I feel like I'm so weak. What is happening to me? Have I already contracted HIV?
Thank you for your response.

Your symptoms are not HIV-related, and your risk was extremely low. HIV transmission did not occur from this incident. If your symptoms persist, I would suggest visiting with your doctor to determine other possible causes.
