Worried for husband, please help
Jun 18, 2014
My husband was signing a document and the sales rep passed him a pen (the same pen the sales rep was using). I noticed the sales rep had red bloody cuticles (didn't look like it was actively bleeding but it was very red like he had been chewing his skin off). If there was blood on the pen and the sales rep was HIV + could that be a possibility for transmission? I checked my husbands hands after and didn't see any open cuts but he is a welder and often has little cuts all over his hands. Is testing required in this situation? Thank you for your response.
