fall of unknown fluid on lips in movie theatre
May 12, 2014

When I went to movie, inside theatre one guy shaking his hand some droplets of fluid fell on my lips,I didn't saw his hand.If there are open cuts on his hand and water or unknown fluid mix with blood spilled on my lips, HIV Transmits or not.Is that a risk....Please answer my question

Response from Mr. Glenn

This is no risk of infection in this situation. Even if a few droplets of blood landed on your lips that's hardly a significant amount AND the mouth is really not a good way for HIV to enter the body.

Hope this helps,

Erik
