Receiver of Anal fingering

Apr 14, 2014

Dear Dr.,

I appreciate the feedback that you have been offering. My question might be repetitive but I would like a slear answer since I am married and really worried.

I did something really dumb and got a massage from a prostitute. She was dressed the whole time and gave me a handjob with and inserting her finger in my anus for about 5 minutes. Although she had a finger cot I did not see where she got it from. I did not see any blood on her fingers neither from me.

My questions are 1) Could I have contracted anything from her if the finger cot was not clean? (if it had been used on someone else before me or she has vaginal fluid, which I doubt?)

2) If I had a tear in my anus could I have contracted anything from her?

The reason I ask is I am not sure how to define trauma to the anus.

Thank you in advance

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi There has never been a known case of HIV transmission by fingering or any other sort of hand-genital contact. A cut risks HIV only if large, deep, and actively bleeding. You definitely cannot get HIV from her giving you a hand job.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
