Hello, I had protected Vaginal sex ONLY with a male and no ejaculation ever occurred. Three days later I tested positive for syphilis. Should I tell her considering the fact that it was protected, with no vaginal or oral sex included? And when he was around my vagina it was with a condom? Also, does fingering a female with syphilis mean you have just been infected with the std?

Hello there I'm a bit confused as to what exactly occurred between you and your partner but if you had sexual contact either protected or unprotected you should inform them of your syphilis diagnosis as they will likely need treatment but definitely need testing for their exposure. Take care DR W
