Plz answer me

Mar 4, 2014

I had unprotected vaginal sex with sex worker 3 months ago Tesets did with result :

82 days : HIV antibodie ( non reactive 0.11) 90 days : HIV antibodie ( non reactive 0.24)

What test mean by 0.12 and then 0.24 ??should i retest again , why this number is increasing ??

keep n mind that i did this tests in a local lab and may be they don't use 3rd or 4th test generation ( i don't know)

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi The testing guidelines for HIV are to be initially tested at 3 weeks post exposure and then again at 90 days. As long as there are no other exposures happened during this time frame than the results are conclusive. Non reactive means that you are HIV free.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon

Thanks for your help
