|condom - massage-oil
Feb 23, 2014
Dear Madam, I had a massage with a female sex worker, using almond oil. Then she lubricated her vagina with the same oil and we had intercourse. The condom stayed intact, didn't break. Do you think there was a risk in transmitting HIV because of the condom porosity?
| Response from Ms. Southall
Hi Condoms are effective in the prevention of HIV transmission, as long as they are used correctly and do not break or slip off. Also if lubricant is used it must be water based.
And since the condom didn't break your risk of HIV transmission is incredibly low.
Be well and stay safe, Shannon
