|Are Oral HIV Tests Accurate?
Feb 10, 2014
I got an oral HIV swab test done in a clinic today, and it was negative. I have had no new partners since a year or so ago, so there's no chance that I have contracted the virus within the past few months.
Are the oral tests really as accurate as blood tests, though?

Hi Yes the oral test are very accurate. If it has been more than 90 days since your last exposure your results are considered conclusive.
Be well and stay safe, Shannon
