White flash of photocopier on my left eye
Feb 2, 2014

I was standing with a friend near a photocopier and he was talking that his eyes are problematic and needs to go to doctor. Suddenly, he closed the lid of the photocopier and the white flash thing went directly in my left eye. I am too much paranoid and worried. Is there any damage to my eyes? I drank carrots juice soon after that and put cold water in my eyes. I feel little (very minute) hurt in my left eye or possibly it is so that I am thinking too much. Please help me, is everything fine? The photocopier was modern Xerox. My age is 26, and I have weak eyesight with -2 and I was wearning normal plastic lenses eye glasses at that time.

Response from Dr. Wohl

Sorry, the Safe Photocopier Use Forum is not here.

Also, the carrot juice - good thinking.
