is condom a 100% protective against HIV

last week, i had sex with a prostitute i twas my first time i did some sexual insertion with a condom of course. i had used a branded condom (DUREX) extra safe. later after that, i got paranoid that i might had a slightest chance of getting HIV. so i kind felt guilty and regretted. can i have a good feed back from any of the expert with a accurate possible answers.thank you very much

Hello there Condoms are effective in preventing HIV transmission as long as they are used correctly, with water-based lubricant, and don't break. Nothing in life is 100% but correct condom use is pretty close. Take care, Dr. W
