Oral sex

Oct 22, 2013

I received oral sex in my penis from a man whose status I don't know. I didn't see any blood in his mouth before, during and after the fellatio. It was brief, for about twenty seconds, and I didn't even cum. Do you think I put myself at risk? Do I need to get tested?

Response from Mr. Glenn

Thanks for your question,

Oral sex is considered very low risk for HIV. This is because the mouth is not typically a good way to get or give HIV (a LOT of blood isn't typically hanging out in the mouth).

Hope this helps!
