tested numerous times
Oct 22, 2013
Hello. I had unprotected sex with two guys in early August. I had an elisa done in early September and late December. I also had an oraquick done in mid January and another antibody test on February 8th. All of them came out negative. On February 8th I also took several other tests (herpes 1 and 2, gonorrhea, syphilis, clamidya, hep b, and hep c). All were negative but 0.92 on herpes 2 being equivocal, with the normal range being below .91. I have not had any new sexual encounters since August. Am I ok regarding hiv and herpes 2?
Response from Mr. Glenn
First off, this sounds like a situation where you should talk with you doctors (and believe what they're telling you!).
You're HIV tests have told us that you didn't get HIV from these two guys. Your Herpes test sounds like it's negative, but if you're worried, you may want to follow up with your doctor.
Hope this helps!
