concentration of hiv in pre cum
Oct 11, 2013
Ms Southall, I'd like to ask you the risk of anal penetration for one minute without condom and ejaculation outside the body. Is it very risky for the receptive partner? Is the concentration of hiv in the precum really great? Thank you for your answer.
Response from Ms. Southall
Hi Being the receptive partner through anal sex does carry the highest risk. But from what you have described, with minimal exposure and ejaculation occurring outside of the body the risk does decrease some. Yes there is HIV in pre cum and can cause transmission. The other thing to remember that any unprotected sex carries risk for not just HIV but all of the other sexually transmitted infections. Always protect yourself especially if you don't know your partners status!
Be well and stay safe, Shannon
