Swollen nodes in neck?
Sep 14, 2013
I've had a couple of swollen nodes in my neck. Mostly on the side of the neck. I noticed one even smaller than a pea so I panicked and starting searching for more and constantly touching my neck. Then a couple days later there was one on the other side of my neck maybe 1CM. It wasn't there the first time I was checking. I kept pushing it in and it was also associated with pain on both sides of the neck but mostly on the side o the node and shoulder pain on both sides. I also got frequent headaches. The headaches were only on one side of my head which was the left (the same side as the node). It had been here for over a month now. Every single day Since it appeared i've touched it. I had no other symptoms but just recently i've been stressing about it and now i have excessive salvia maybe difficulty swallowing and just a slight cough but the cough is not persisant. What could this be? I'm extremely worried

Lymph nodes swell whenever your body is fighting an infection. This happens throughout your life (it's normal!). You lymph nodes have and will swell throughout your life.
So I have no idea why they're swelling now. Honestly, who care that you have swollen lymph nodes? It's such a mundane thing.
Talk to a general doctor about them if you're concerned, but please stop messing with them! They're probably swelling even more because you push on them all the time (you're irritating them!).
Hope this helps!
