toothbrush or razor
Sep 4, 2013

Thank you for replying my question so fast...mam , my obsessive fear is not letting me calm...as u juz said about toothbrushes in privious answer....my actual concern was about razor....a razor cut by used blade..does it carry high risk for hiv transmission????????plz do me favour..m still tensed......

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi Transmission of HIV from a contaminated surface would require massive exposure to blood or other infected liquid for a prolonged period of time. Which means risk from a razor is highly unlikely. Rest easy! HIV transmission occurs mainly through unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing needles.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
