Hi HIV transmission does not occur in this manner. HIV transmission occurs when there is a prolong and direct exchange of body fluid. This occurs through vaginal or anal sex, sharing needles or mother to child through breast milk. Sharing utensils, razors, tooth brushes is not recommended but does NOT carry a high risk of HIV transmission. HIV once it leaves the body begins to die and becomes unable to infect within minutes. It's more for those of us living with HIV to not share items after someone else because our immune systems are compromised and can pick up bacterias and viruses, such as colds or the flu.
You are HIV free from this experience.
Be well and stay safe, Shannon
