p24 antigen test at 2,3 and 6 weeks
Jul 27, 2013

Dear Doc Good Day, Thanks for last reply lot of negatives tests at 2 weeks,3 weeks and 6 weeks all combo anitigen/antobody test. Can I consider my self negative conclusive.Or I have to test with standard antibody test after 3 months. One more question which will do a world beter for me and will relax me. 1)In your long carrier as hiv specialist have you ever seen any one negative on Combo antigen/antibody test at 6 weeks truning positive at 3 months or after 3 months on antibody test.

Response from Dr. Wohl

Nope. If combo test is negative at 6 weeks I can not see (and have not seen) later seroconversion unless new exposure and infection.
