stepped on blood
Jun 23, 2013

i recently stepped on dried blood (bare feet) and im really concerned of contracting hepatitis. i had been walking through my kitchen all day and just noticed it. i have had 3 showers and scrubbed my foot am i ok. also i started freaking out and my mom came in my room and stepped on my floor and i know that she also stepped on the blood is my floor now hazordous?

Response from Mr. Glenn

This is only risky if that blood somehow got inside of your body. That would only happen if there was a significant cut, sore, or other wound on your feet.

If you had something like this on your foot though, it'd probably be uncomfortable to walk..

Therefore, unless something obvious was going on with you foot, sounds like there wasn't any risk.

Hope this helps!

Erik
