Symptoms at 4 months and a half and tested negative

Mar 27, 2013

4 months and a half ago I had a contact with a woman sexworker with condom. After that I took aroun 6 tests, all results negatives (at 3,6, 9, 12, 15 and 19 weeks) and for my anxiety a viral load test by bDNA, the result was undetectable at 15 weeks. I had actually dry mouth and white tongue, I have not had ever those symptoms and I lost around 10 pounds in this 4 months. Do I need have test at 6 months? Also I took hepatitis b, c and vdrl, all results negative

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi The testing guidelines for HIV are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 90 days as long as there were no other exposures during this time than the results are conclusive. Your history of having testing done at 15 weeks showing negative means that you are!

Be well and stay safe, Shannon

please help 3rd time asking
I'm terrified to the end of my wits!
